Installing Apps
LineageOS does not come with Google’s Play Store, but you can install FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) apps through the F-Droid application which comes pre-installed. If you can’t find alternatives for your normal apps, we recommend installing the Aurora Store. The Aurora Store is a replacement for the Google Play Store, with many advantages like the ability to download and install apps without a Google account, spoofing to circumvent region blocking and Exodus Report to view trackers that have been hidden inside apps.
The Aurora Store is very easy to install. Just open F-Droid and search for “Aurora Store”. You can then install it like any other application!
