Installation
Google Pixel: If you own a Google Pixel, you can download the official Pixel Camera app through the Aurora Store. Open the Aurora Store application and search for “Pixel Camera” to get started.
Other Pixels Perfected devices: We recommend downloading Pixel Camera (Google Camera) from here. This download hub provides links to many different versions from different developers. Pixel Camera can be finicky and you may run into occasional issues while using the app, in which case we recommend you revisit this page and try a different version. You can have multiple versions installed at the same time so play around and find one that works well for you!
We currently recommend starting with these versions for Pixels Perfected devices:
OnePlus 5T – Nikita Version 1.7
To preview your photos within the Pixel Camera app, you may need to change the default gallery from Google Photos. To do this, open the Pixel Camera app and enable ‘Use a third-party gallery’ under Settings.
Note: When installing an application outside of an app store, you will need to download and install what is known as an .apk file. When attempting to install the .apk file, you may be prompted for permissions. This will allow you to install the Pixel Camera .apk and any future .apk files you download.
